Wartasyariah.com – Universitas Azzahra (UA) melakukan penandatangan Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) dengan Yayasan Badan Wakaf Haji Akrom, Jumat, 19 Agustus 2022.
Kerja sama tersebut dilangsungkan di ruang rapat Universitas Azzahra, di Jakarta Timur, DKI Jakarta. Hadir dalam kesempatan itu, Rektor Universitas Azzahra, Drs. Syamsu Alam Makka, M.Si beserta Jajaran dan Founder sekaligus Pembina Yayasan Badan Wakaf Haji Akrom, Imam Nur Aziz, S.sos., M.A beserta Direktur Akrom Foundation, Pak Agung.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Drs. Syamsu Alam Makka, M.Si, mengatakan, MoU dilakukan dalam rangka mengakomodir Kegiatan Literasi, edukasi dan pelatihan serta sertifikasi nasional (Keahlian standar BNSP-BWI) Nadzir Wakaf yang terus berkembang. Dimana, lanjutnya, perguruan tinggi harus mendukung sinergitas dengan Mitra Strategis.
Rektor menyampaikan, Universitas Azzahra memiliki komitmen menjadi perguruan tinggi dengan reputasi nasional dan regional dalam Meningkatkan Mutu Lulusan.
“Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut salah satunya mengintegrasikan diri dengan KKNI, BNSP, kerja sama dengan berbagai pihak yang terkait dengan Nadzir Wakaf,” ungkapnya.
Sementara itu, Pembina Akrom Foundation, Imam Nur Aziz mengungkapkan, Yayasan yang dimiliknya memang membidangi Wakaf bidang Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang diperlukan oleh dunia global.
“Sehingga mahasiswa lulusan Universitas Azzahra nantinya memiliki sertifikat pendamping di luar ijazah. Sehingga mahasiswa siap dan memperoleh pengakuan dari lembaga sertifikasi,” kata Imam Nur Aziz.
Lebih lanjut dikatakan Imam Nur Aziz, Universitas Azzahra termasuk Universitas Unggulan, yang pernah dipimpin oleh Rektor Prof. Dr. Baharudin Lopa, SH, Jaksa Agung Republik Indonesia dari 6 Juni 2001 sampai wafatnya pada 3 Juli 2001. dan Kini, dipimpin oleh Rektor Drs. Syamsu Alam Makka, M.Si, Ex.Pejabat koordinator perguruan tinggi swasta wilayah III DKI Jakarta.
“Sehingga pengalaman di bidang pengelolaan perguruan tinggi sudah memilik sejarah yang panjang untuk memberikan pendidikan yang unggul, pendidik yang inovatif, aplikatif, dan nilai tambah dengan berbagai program penunjang,” pungkas Imam.***MA
