WartaSyariah, Bangka Belitung – Wakil Presiden (Wapres) Ma’ruf Amin meminta anggota ekonomi dan keuangan Syariah Indonesia memperkuat kerja sama internasional untuk meningkatkan daya saing produk halal di pasar Global.
“Saya mengajak anggota ekonomi dan keuangan Syariah Indonesia untuk memperkuat kerjasama yang saling menguntungkan dengan negara sahabat, dalam mengembangkan industri halal, pariwisata halal dan usaha halal lainnya”, kata Wakil Presiden pada pembukaan Kongres Halal Internasional 2022, Selasa (14/06/2022).
Kongres Halal Internasional 2022, dikutip WartaSyariah.com dari setkab.go.id, berlangsung di Novotel Bangka Ballroom, Novotel Hotel and Convention Center, Pangkalan Baru, Provinsi Bangka Belitung.
Wapres mengatakan sebagai negara dengan penduduk muslim terbesar di dunia, Indonesia memiliki potensi besar sebagai pasar produk halal.
Berdasarkan Laporan Ekonomi dan Keuangan Syariah 2021 yang dirilis Bank Indonesia (BI), pangsa sektor prioritas dalam rantai ekonomi halal dalam Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) Indonesia meningkat menjadi 25 persen dengan kontribusi terbesar dari pertanian, disusul kuliner halal, wisata ramah muslim dan busana muslim.
“Pada tahun 2022, dengan pengelolaan COVID19 yang jauh lebih baik, diharapkan perekonomian akan bergerak lebih cepat, termasuk sektor halal. Momentum ini harus dijaga dan dimanfaatkan agar kita bisa mencapai cita-cita Indonesia menjadi pusat industri halal global pada 2022,” ujarnya.
Selain itu, Wapres juga menekankan pentingnya penguatan sinergi dan kerjasama antar organisasi yang bergerak di bidang ekonomi dan keuangan syariah Indonesia.
“Kerja sama dan kolaborasi harus diperkuat. Kita harus menyingkirkan ego industri. Mengakhiri sambutannya, Wapres juga menekankan pentingnya sertifikasi produk halal untuk meningkatkan daya saing ekspor produk Indonesia ke negara lain, khususnya anggota Grup, pungkasnya.
