Nasabah sebagai merchant akan dibekali aplikasi khusus bernama Muamalat Merchant App (MMA) untuk mengelola transaksi pembayaran mereka.
Direktur Utama Bank Muamalat Achmad K. Permana mengatakan, sebagai bank syariah yang modern dan adaptif terhadap era digital implementasi metode pembayaran seperti QR Code sudah menjadi keharusan. Selain itu, penerapan layanan ini juga akan memberikan kemudahan bagi bank untuk memperluas kerja sama bisnis kemitraan baik dengan sesama lembaga jasa keuangan (LJK) maupun non LJK.
“Kami yakin dengan adanya layanan QRIS Acquirer ini nasabah Bank Muamalat yang memiliki usaha, khususnya yang bergerak di sektor UMKM, dapat semakin mudah dalam mengelola transaksi pembayarannya. Aplikasi MMA yang digunakan oleh pemilik usaha memiliki keunggulan dari sisi fitur keamanan, yaitu proteksi refund transaksi dengan menggunakan Personal Identification Number (PIN). Fitur ini melindungi bisnis dari kecurangan oknum kasir yang mencoba melakukan pengembalian dana (refund) kepada pembayar tanpa sepengetahuan pemilik bisinis/manager, karena PIN ini tidak untuk di-share kepada kasir.
Selain dapat digunakan di merchant, layanan QRIS Acquirer Bank Muamalat juga dapat digunakan untuk pembayaran donasi dan transaksi pembayaran di berbagai instansi seperti sekolah, mesjid, lembaga donasi dan rumah sakit. Adapun jumlah merchant atau mitra yang akan diakuisisi pada tahun ini ditargetkan sebanyak 7000.
Nasabah yang ingin menjadi mitra atau merchant dapat mengajukan permohonan kepada Bank Muamalat melalui Cabang terdekat atau melalui e-form yang akan diluncurkan dalam waktu dekat dengan mengunjungi website www.bankmuamalat.co.id. Selanjutnya pihak Bank Muamalat akan melakukan validasi atas pengajuan tersebut. Merchant kemudian akan mendapatkan stiker QRIS yang bisa dipindai (scan) saat menerima pembayaran.
